A calm, practical learning space for parents of young children.
TinySteps helps parents support early reading, phonics, preschool learning, and kindergarten readiness at home with simple, age-friendly activities.
Hi, I’m Nouhaila Benis.
My work with young children started in the classroom, where I quickly learned something important: children do not need pressure to learn. They need patience, clear steps, repetition, encouragement, and activities that feel simple enough to try every day.
Over the years, I worked with children at different early learning stages. Some children were excited to read. Some were shy. Some needed more time with letters and sounds. Some learned faster when learning felt like a game.
That experience helped me understand that every child learns differently. Small daily steps, repeated with care, can build real confidence.
Helping parents know where to start
Many parents want to help their child learn but feel unsure where to begin. Some worry their child is behind. Others want simple learning ideas but do not have time to read long, confusing advice.
I created TinySteps to make early learning easier to understand. The goal is not to make learning stressful or complicated. The goal is to make reading, phonics, and school preparation feel calmer, clearer, and more natural for both children and parents.
Simple support for the early learning years
TinySteps is made for parents, caregivers, and teachers who want useful, easy-to-follow guidance for children between ages 3 and 7.
Preschool Foundations
Ages 3–4: early letters, colors, numbers, sounds, fine motor practice, routines, and playful learning.
Kindergarten Readiness
Ages 5–6: phonics, early reading, simple writing, vocabulary, confidence, and school-prep skills.
Brain-Boost Games
Ages 6–7: thinking games, memory activities, reading challenges, focus, and problem-solving practice.
Small steps. Real confidence.
Children learn best when activities match their age, attention span, and confidence level. That is why TinySteps focuses on simple, practical learning ideas instead of complicated methods.
You do not need special materials or a perfect schedule. Many activities can be done during normal daily moments — reading together, naming colors, playing sound games, practicing short words, or talking about what your child sees around them.
Helpful, respectful, and parent-friendly content
At TinySteps, every article is written to be clear, useful, and focused on children’s real learning needs. We do not believe in making parents feel guilty or overwhelmed. We believe in giving simple support that makes learning feel possible.
